About Brown Recluse Spider Bites
When a brown recluse bites you, you may not even notice it. It isn't that painful at first and can possible go undetected for a few hours.
Each person will respond differently to a brown recluse spider bite. It really just depends on where you bit, how much poison that the spider injected and your sensitivity.
Within a few hours of being bitten you will begin to show symptoms of being poisoned. And that is exactly what happens - the spider poisons you with their venom. This venom will start to kill off or deteriorate your skin.
These symptoms can vary from person to person, but typically are:
- fever
- vomiting
- itching
- restlessness
- chills
Usually brown recluse spider bites show up as a big red mark around an inch in diameter. If you or someone you know has been bitten by a brown recluse spider, you need to seek medical attention immediately. These spider bites can be very dangerous and even fatal to some.
It is really hard to predict just how severe a brown recluse spider bite will be for each individual person, but these dangerous bites can grow into huge pits and can even cause a person to have an arm or a leg amputated.
Even if you don't have a severe spider bite, it will be very painful and can continue to get worse over a few weeks, and it always takes months to fully heal... usually leaving a very bad scar.
These bites seem to effect children, elderly and people with severe medical conditions the most. These people should be very cautious when coming in contact with brown recluse habitats.
